Happy Birthday Litter 8 / Parabéns ninhada 8

We want to congrat Laila, Alva and Oberon from our litter 8. They are now 2 years old and are great and beautiful cats. Thanks to their owners for taking such a good care of them. Mummy Iris and Daddy Felix send a huge purr.

Stella's kittens - 1 month old

We have quite a surprise regarding these two beauties. They are both females. We were misleaded by the huge amount of fur surrounding that area.

These two lovely girls are developing nicely and according to their age. There are some characteristics that we can notice already. they are both very well built, Nuki has smaller ears, just like Stella, and she seems to be odd-eyed just like Gabriel(at least we thought that we could see a blue and a green eye in the pictures). Nanuk is more Stella's all together. She has a longer profile and beautiful eye expression.

Nuki is more of a show off, she loves being in the centre of all the attention and adores to be cuddled. Nanuk is more cautious, she prefers to watch first. They both adore to be on our laps which is great having these two snowballs cuddling with us.

Stella's kittens - 1 week old

Both Nuki and Nanuk are developing very well. Nuki was the first to open his eyes and take a look around, he is a very curious always on the move searching for new things to look at.

Nanuk is more lazy and cuddly. She prefers her mother nursing "lap" than to explore the new world. She knows there is plenty of time to get to know what's around her.

Stella's babies were born

Stella gave birth two three babies on the 3rd of November, but unfortunatelly one of the babies was still born. He was to big(145gr.) and it took too long for him to be born so he was without breathing for too long. He was a beautiful bicolour male(white and black) and he's now in kittens heaven.

The other two kitten are well and growing in a fast rate. They're both white, one male and one female and their names are Nanunk and Nuki, which in Inuit language means polar bear and strenght.

Four beautiful babies

Our friends Ulrica and Lars, our Felix's breeders, in Sweden have four beautiful babies, 3 torties and 1 red boy. They're from Killix Enigma's (our Iris's brother) and beautiful Just Catnap's China.

Stella's babies are almost here

Stella is very pregnant by now. Her prince charming is a white cat with odd eyes called Gabriel. You can see him at his cattery's page "Gabriel's Place".

We are expecting her kittens around the last week of October.

We expect white and black kittens. The kittens might be totally white, totally black, but there is a possibility of black and white kittens(bicolour kittens).

Stella doesn't carry the dilution gene but Gabriel does(he's blue underneath).

We are very anxious to see the outcome of this mating, since it's the first time Stella has ever been mated by other cat than our Felix.

Sahara in her autumn coat

Isn't she gorgeus? Sahara is from our litter 7 and she's almost 3 years old. She lives in Germany at our friends' Anja and Thomas from Koeni's Cattery.

Yasmine's babies

Yasmine has become a mother of five beautiful and huge babies last month. We're so proud of "our" sweetheart, because besides good quality kittens, she is also a very good mother. Just like her mother, our Stella, she knows what to do when the time comes.

Yasmine is from our litter 10 and has a super temperament just like mum and dad. Her beautiful feline type is visible in this photo.

Stella's mating

Stella is outside the cattery to meet her new love. We were a bit concerned because this is the first time Stella meets another male besides Felix, but as always she behaved like a true lady and within a few hours she let the male mate her and behaved like they were best friends.

In due time we will inform the result of this mating and reveal the name of the male as well as the possible colours of the kittens.

June at her new home

Our little red girl, June, is at her new home in the Algarve in the company of Conceição and her daughter.
We wish the little one all the best and thank Conceição for welcome June in her family.

Storm at 5 months

Storm, Kunji's son and Lily's brother, is almost 6 months old. He looks very handsome and he looks like a very promising male with almost 3 kilos.

Thanks Cláudia for taking such a good care of "our baby" and making him such a happy cat.

Felix visit to the dentist

My sweet boy had a trip to the vet yesterday to clean his teeth and as always he behaved kindly. He has a super temperament and spreads charm all around him even when he is not very comfortable with the situation.

The procedure took a while because his teeth were in such a bad condition. It's his second time in the vet to clean his teeth. I guess that cats are just like some people with bad teeth who need constant care and attention not to loose them.

He was very brave and has now a new smile and although the teeth seemed in poor condition none was rotten and there were no cavities :-)))

Iris's kittens are at their new homes

Eowyn and Legolas are living with their new owners in the north of the country. As for Arwen, she is staying with us a little while longer since she is going abroad and more vaccines are necessary.

We want to wish Eowyn and Legolas, and of course, their new owners, Miguel, Ana e Carlos a happy new life full of "cat happiness".

Happy Birthday Kunji- 23/06/05

My sweet and beautiful princess is two years old since last Saturday. I can't believe how fast time flies. Last Friday I spent quite a few time just flicking her pictures and it's amazing how she has turned into a beautiful lady with the most amazing eyes and calm expression.

I haven't forgotten about Kunji's birthday, I just had no time to write about it this weekend since we were out on both Saturday and Sunday, but we had plenty of time to spoil her with cuddles and treats.

Thanks Anja and Thomas. You know I will be in debt with you forever...

Lilium is our new female

We decided to keep her first because she was a torbie with high white and secondly(not necessary by this order) because she has a super sweet temperament a mixture between Felix and Kunji's sweetness.

I'm sure she will develop in the right way and will give us babies just as beautiful as she is.

Kunji's kittens have moved out

Our little cutties Rainbow, Storm, Blossom and Daisy are now at their new owners homes. We wish them all the luck in the world and a very long and happy cat life. As for the owners we really hope that you all learn the happiness of sharing your lives with such a beautiful and special breed.

Our beautiful Norwegian princess is five years old. She will be spoiled with some extra cuddles and a new toy for her to wreck in some hours time;-))

Happy Birthday Iris - 07 /06/2002

My beautiful lady Iris is 5 years old. She's my true companion from all my cats, she's always by my side cheering me up. She has a very special temperament bossing everyone around and that's part of her charm.

Thanks again Susanne and Kiri for letting us share our lives with this gorgeous lady and also for remembering her birthday. Iris sends you a big purr and a"licking" kiss.

Some sun FINALLY

We are having the strangest spring I ever remember. It's so unusual this horrible weather in Portugal that everybody is talking about it. Every day we wish for sun and some warm and all we get is a grey and windy day. So every time there is a breach in this lousy weather even the kittens enjoy it. What cheers us up is that summer is just a month away, or isn't it?!!!
