Finally I'm back

Iris sleeping waiting for springtime

It seems that 2007 didn't begin well for me. I had some health problems which are over by now. It was hard, specially because it took my will to do anything besides sleep.

So many people have asked me about Iris's litter. Yes, she had a litter of one little boy(not so little - 123gr.) who died a few hours later. It was a shock to us, because he was perfect. I guess God had other plans for the little one. Now some of you will say, but Iris is on the Plans page again. Well it's true, we weren't expecting such an early heat, only a week after the birth, but I guess Felix was.... We talked to our vet and asked him about this early new pregnancy, but he said that since Iris is in very good shape, that she is very big(now over 5kilos) and strong and that the previous litter was just one cat, he saw no harm in this new litter. Let's just pray for healthy and strong babies.

As for Lju, well, she spent a few weeks at my friend's Ana from Gabriel's Place with lovely Xazul, but she got depressed, totally lost her heat so we had to take her again to my sister. She was so happy when she saw Gaspar(who lives with her at my sister's) and now they form a much more tight pair. I don't know if I will take her again, maybe she isn't cut out to be a mother.
