New pictures of the babies

The website has been updated with new pictures of the babies. It's amazing how they grow from one week to the next.
Rainbow is still the biggest with 256 grams at one week. He's so cute with his huge head "dad look a like" expression, he is also the most peaceful of them all. No wonder, he is always with his belly full ;-))
Blossom is the biggest female, she also has a big appetite. As for Storm, Daisy and Lilium they all have pretty much the same weight. Storm has the strongest meow, Daisy the cuttest expression and Lilium is the most adventurous, the first to open her eyes and to wonder around the nursery box. It's really great fun to watch them for several minutes to try and guess their personality.

Photo shooting

Today the day started with rain, the sun was a bit shy and so we decided to stay at home taking pictures of Litter 11. In the afternoon the weather changed completely, we had the most beautiful spring sunset and since the day was longer due to the summer hour we thought of going into the garden and taking some pictures of the flowers blooming. Kunji decided to show up next to us and to be the star of the photo session. I totally forgot about the flowers and my lenz was focused on Kunji. It was worth it, wasn't it?

As for Ghost, well she is very restless when she's outside, smelling and watching everything. Her picture was taken in our living room with the sunset coming through the window. It is a rare occasion to see her looking so peacefull....

Aren't they beautiful

Yasmine and Sahara are sisters from the different litters. Yasmine is from our 10th litter and she's 10 months old. Sahara is 2 years and 2 months and she's from our 7th litter They are both daughters of Felix and Stella and you could tell that by looking at their expressions and especially their collars.... so much fur.

We want to thank our dear friends Lucia Monteiro and Anja von Koenen for taking such a good care of them.

Kunji's babies are all reserved

Baby Storm is his mother look a like.

Today all the kittens found their new owners. It was quite an afternoon, the phone was constantly ringing and the mails were coming in fastly.

So until further notice all the kittens are reserved, but we welcome further inquiries for the upcoming litters, just check our plans page.

Kunji and Felix's babies have arrived

The kittens were born on Friday the 16th March

This is sweet Lilium. Isn't she lovely?

Yes, they have finally arrived. Five beautiful babies, two boys and three girls we believe. I say this because as you know at this tender age sometimes we get misled by their puffiness and their colour is not that visible either. We'll confirm gender and colour in the next days.

Kunji was a brave girl, she only complained on the first one, but after that she behaved like if she had been a mother many times before. She just stays with the babies all the time and they have already gained weight. Today she visited us in the garden and stood there with us for half an hour to enjoy the sunshine. It was a beautiful spring afternoon with 23ºc and the smell of the flowers in the air. This inspired me to name the kittens. After this last week of warm temperatures and beautiful sunshine spring seemed a great theme for the litter.

Kunji and Felix's mating

I'm so excited, only in a few days Kunji's kittens are here. She is so pregnant, her belly almost touches the ground. It's her first pregnancy so we don't know if either she is carrying lots of babies or if she is carrying big babies. In a few days the suspence will be broken....I can't wait for this moment because she is my most beautiful princess and her babies must be as wonderful as she is.

Kunji was promised to Tigressan's Xazul from our friends cattery, but both times she refused him. Probably that blue beauty wasn't in her plans. After a short period she fell in love with Felix, like all our other females. Our Felix is a charming boy, always very gentle and kind towards other cats.

As soon as the babies arrive we will post their pictures and reveal them to the world. Now we will keep our fingers crossed, wishing for a good delivery and healthy babies.

Happy Birthday Ghost - 09/03/2007

Ghost is already two years old. Time flies when you're in the presence of such a sweet and playful cat. She's always happy, running around, climbing, chasing bugs and her furry friends.

We're very happy to have her with us, sharing our lives. She hasn't had a litter yet, maybe she will fulfill our wish this year, but then again, she is so busy playing and being a big baby that she hasn't the time to be a mother herself. She is a bit calmer, though, since her best friend Kunji is pregnant and with no will to play or run around. Maybe when she sees her nephews she would get in the mood.
